Chris Dunn, returning home for his ordination, will be the guest preacher in worship Sunday, December 7. His readings for his sermon, “Who’s Time Is It Anyway?” will be from Isaiah 40:-11 and 2 Peter 3:8-15a. Then, join us at 4:00 pm for a Special Service for his ordination as a Presbyterian Pastor. Dr. Hathaway will preach and Rev. Shortlidge will give “the charge” to Chris in this service sponsored by the Presbytery of Baltimore. Reception to follow in Fellowship Hall.

Beneath a Shining Star
The Cherub and Genesis choirs, under the direction of Janice Drum, Doug McKeel and Erin Jones will present a brief children's musical, Beneath a Shining Star at the ADVENTurous Worship Wednesday, December 10. Its dress rehearsal time for the year's Christmas pageant and angels, shepherds and stars are all present. But the one thing missing is the true meaning of Christmas. Enter - Mary and Joseph and the Child in the manger for a warm reminder of that first Christmas night. Join us for the evening.
