Interim Pastor Search

FPC Annapolis after Orlando Shooting

To start in July 2018, the First Presbyterian Church of Annapolis (FPC Annapolis) is looking for an Interim Pastor who has experience in guiding a congregation through the pastor nominating process. We seek someone with compassion, vision and a commitment to social justice who will bring intellectual rigor to preaching and teaching and has skills in staff and financial management, strategic thinking, and communication.

FPC Annapolis is a “big tent” of life-long learners who believe in the vision of doing justice, loving kindness and walking humbly with God. As it faces the expected challenges of transition from a long-term pastorate toward an unknown future, FPC Annapolis has a well-educated and politically diverse congregation, enthusiastically involved in both the leadership and work of the church, and will work hand-in-hand with its pastors to set goals and strategies for the church’s future. In particular, FPC Annapolis has a very active local and international mission calendar and continues to develop additional ministries, most recently in Cuba and Rwanda.

The Interim Pastor Search Committee will begin reviewing applications beginning April 1, 2018. It will continue to accept applications until the search is successfully completed.
